As Managing Director Amanda lives and breathes the Take Effect ethos of unleashing peoples potential to truly make a difference. She herself worked in the training sector for over 10 years as a dynamic, highly driven, learner-centred, Learning and Development Consultant.  She has worked for a wide range of clients, many of whom are in the top FTSE 35, Blue Chip companies. She has a passion for using workplace Psychology to improve performance.  Always thriving on a challenge, in the distant past she has even worked on live TV in a highly pressured environment.

Robert Snell

Head of Training, Coaching and Development

Rob has worked globally as a CIPD Qualified Training Consultant in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Rob is a supporter of self-directed discovery in L&D, enabling individuals of all skill levels to thrive. Our long standing client British Sky Broadcasting, a client since August 2009, regularly requests us due to his exceptional results.

Katie Nunwick

Editor and News Writer

Katie is a Writer with vision, ideas and a stickler for deadlines, and is a valued member of our team.  She is a fully qualified Copywriter and works for us at Take Effect providing online, written and media communications support.   Prior to becoming a freelance copywriter Katie spent ten years working in the private sector in a variety of marketing and project management roles. Katie has provided communications support for NHS organisation the ‘North West Workforce Transformation Team’, raising awareness of how to transform the workforce in the NHS via education and training.

Sectors:  Business Learning and Development Sector, Public Sector NHS and Pharmacy Workforce North West.

Specialisms:  Degree in Business Studies, is Prince 2 trained and has a Diploma in Copywriting.   High impact language for Marketing and Sales.  Proof-reading and editing.

Interests:  Business, e-commerce, the training and development sector, technology, finance, the economy, psychology and education.

Fact: Katie adores sunshine holidays and walking in the countryside. She is an active supporter of the charity Anxiety UK.

Graeme Bland

Digital Artist

Being creative comes naturally to Graeme, his attention to detail on any graphic project comes with a deep intellectual understanding of how best to visually communicate an idea. He provides visual solutions for our online and offline communication needs.  Graeme began creating design and illustration for print in 1997 and moved into web design in 2006.  Graeme is a qualified teacher and used his design skills to produce numerous resources for the teaching of business, I.T. and web design. He continues to delight us with his visual creativeness and ability to transform an idea into tangible design.

Specialisms:  HTML/CSS, Illustration, Graphic Design, Web hosting

Interests:  Creating visuals that say more about the client than the designer. Augmenting learning through the use of visual and technological media.

Fact: As well as creating images, Graeme also makes sounds. He plays guitar, bass and sometimes ukulele.
