According to analysis completed by Small99, SMEs have a carbon footprint of at least 6 percent or 25.8 million tonnes / CO2e of total UK annual carbon emissions.
At Take Effect Training, we recognise that we have a responsibility to the environment beyond our legal and regulatory requirements. We believe that it is important as a UK SME to aim to reduce our carbon footprint and address any environmental impact.
We are committed to reducing our environmental impacts and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods.
We will encourage our customers, suppliers, associates, contractors and other stakeholders to embrace the same approach, through reducing their carbon footprint, contributing to a climate action for business strategy and monitoring their own environmental performance.
Internally, we focus on reducing, reusing and recycling where possible. We have also, reduced the amount of energy and water we use. We have changed the suppliers who provide our office equipment and training materials for greener alternatives.
And we won’t just stop there…
Our leaders have attended a carbon literacy programme and we are committed to ensuring all who work for us are educated in the same way.
