Our commitment to health, safety and security

In response to the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to follow the latest advice and recommendations from the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and the local authorities in the countries we operate in. For up-to-date information and further details, please refer to the WHO and the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and Gov.uk.

We have reviewed our existing health and safety processes and developed the Take Effect Training approach. Take Effect Training has strong processes and support in place. Each of our Take Effect trainers and consultants has been equipped with resources, educational materials, and guidance, in line with the UK governments advice on Health and Safety regarding Covid-19. Please refer to Gov.uk. Relevant risk assessments are made where it is our responsibility to do so.

Training remotely

Many of our training packages can be led remotely through video conferencing, thus reducing the risk of Covid-19. Please ensure that you and your participants have the necessary software and equipment to enable you to access the course.

Working safely – your company training

We request that your company strictly follows the Government health and safety Covid-19 guidance for businesses, offices and contact centres. Please ensure that, you have completed a Covid-19 risk assessment, staff wear face coverings, your company adheres to social distancing, ventilation is considered, that staff take part in test and trace service by keeping a record for 21 days and turn people away with coronavirus symptoms. Our trainers are fully prepared and educated to follow health and safety guidance. Please refer to the most up to date information at Gov.uk.

Other countries

We are continuously monitoring and following the changes in recommendations and guidelines of the local governments and the local health authorities in the countries we operate in, to continue working towards providing the best service possible while safeguarding the safety of our local trainers and associates, within the requirements issued by such local authorities.

Please be aware that the availability of food service, fitness centres, and other amenities may be disrupted at your destination training centre.

UK Venues for public courses

Moving forward from (to be confirmed) 17th May 2021 when the United Kingdom reopens, we also aim to ensure that the venues that we use for our public courses have in-depth cleanliness and disinfection protocol designed to ensure your safety and peace of mind. Please refer to each venues health and safety policy for further information. Please refer to Scotland, England, Wales, or Northern Ireland’s latest relevant up to date information at Gov.uk.

We request and remind every learner taking part in a Take Effect training course to follow the up-to-date government guidelines. You will be requested to wear a face covering and maintain social distancing. The group sizes are kept small to ensure social distancing measures can be adhered to. We may need to take the learners name, contact details for NHS Test and Trace service to be kept for 21 days, after which they can be deleted from Take Effect Training’s database. If you develop symptoms, please do not attend the course, and follow the most up to date government guidelines. Health and safety are paramount, and we reserve the right to refuse attendance at any time to anyone who does not adhere to the health and safety guidance. Please refer to Gov.uk.
